Truths From the Koran You Must Know To Escape Eternal Burning In Hell
Mohammed was born in 570 AD
He received the Koran in a vision from the angel Gabriel at the age of 40 in a cave of Hira – 610 AD
This process of revelation took approximately 23 years from December 22, 609 AD to 632 AD.
According to the Koran, what must one do to become a Muslim.
The moment, and the only moment, when God spoke to man. It is the foundation of the Islamic faith; accept this truth and Islam accepts you. Recite the words, la illaha illa Allah wa Muhammad rasul Ullah (“There is no god but Allah and Muhammad is the Messenger of God”) and abracadraba, you’re a Muslim. In other words, all you need to do to become one of the faithful, is to truly believe that — through the Angel Gabriel — God spoke to one man, and one man only out there in the sand dunes when he dictated al-Qur’an or “The Reading.”.
The words of the Koran or what it says should be very important to a Muslim
Matthew 12:37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.
It’s specific words are very important.
What we believe to be God’s word (The King James Bible) would not have any contradictions in it.
Psalms 119:140 Thy word is very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it.
Proverbs 30:5 Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
If there are any contradictions, then it is a lie.
John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
There are many proofs that the Bible is God’s holy word – one of them is prophecy.
Isaiah 46:9-10 Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me,
10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:
Of the 26 books of religious authority for any of the religions of the world, none of them contain any prophecy.
The Koran speaks of prophecy that has been fulfilled, but does not contain one verse of prophecy.
One of the main differences between Biblical Christianity and Islam is WHO Jesus is.
The Koran speaks against the LORD Jesus being God Almighty in the flesh and says he was only a prophet of God – Sura 4:171; 6:101; 9:30; 10:68; 17:111; 18:4; 19:88; 21:26; 23:91; 25:2
Sura 4:157-159; 5:72;
Sura means A STEP each verse means A SIGN
What factors should be present to prove that Jesus Christ was Divine or God in the flesh?
Are those factors present in the Koran?
4 Requirements for Jesus Christ to meet in order to be Divine
There should be an early prophecy or expectation of His birth which His coming fulfills
The Bible gives us the time and place of His birth, who would be there and what they would say.
Surah 5:46 And in their footsteps We sent Jesus the son of Mary, confirming the Law that had come before him: We sent him the Gospel: therein was guidance and light, and confirmation of the Law that had come before him: a guidance and an admonition to those who fear God.
Surah 61:6 And remember, Jesus, the son of Mary, said: “O Children of Israel! I am the apostle of God (sent) to you, confirming the Law (which came) before me, and giving Glad Tidings of an Messenger to come after me, whose name shall be Ahmad.” But when he came to them with Clear Signs, they said, “this is evident sorcery!”
The Koran teaches that Jesus came to confirm the law – – – there was a pronouncement made BEFORE He came.
Matthew 5:14 – Jesus tells us that He came to fulfill the law
Luke 24:44 – Jesus said, all things must be fulfilled which were written in the law of Moses
The Koran gives no prophecy of the coming of Mohammed
His coming, conception, or birth ought to be supernatural, extraordinary, and an incredible miracle that could only be explained if Jesus were the Son of God
Throughout all ages and time, there is only one birth that makes the claim of a virgin birth – Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23
Only in the birth of Jesus Christ has this claim been substantiated
The Koran goes back to Mary’s mother and quotes her when Mary is born
Surah 3:36 When she was delivered, she said: “O my Lord! Behold! I am delivered of a female child!”- and God knew best what she brought forth- “And no wise is the male Like the female. I have named her Mary, and I commend her and her offspring to Thy protection from the Evil One, the Rejected.”
Then the Koran quotes Gabriel and Mary’s response to the message
Surah 3:42-47 Behold! the angels said: “O Mary! God hath chosen thee and purified thee- chosen thee above the women of all nations.
43. “O Mary! worship Thy Lord devoutly: Prostrate thyself, and bow down (in prayer) with those who bow down.”
44. This is part of the tidings of the things unseen, which We reveal unto thee (O Messenger.) by inspiration: Thou wast not with them when they cast lots with arrows, as to which of them should be charged with the care of Mary: Nor wast thou with them when they disputed (the point).
45. Behold! the angels said: “O Mary! God giveth thee glad tidings of a Word from Him: his name will be Christ Jesus, the son of Mary, held in honour in this world and the Hereafter and of (the company of) those nearest to God.
The Koran says Jesus is the greatest in this world and the world to come.
46. “He shall speak to the people in childhood and in maturity. And he shall be (of the company) of the righteous.”
47. She said: “O my Lord! How shall I have a son when no man hath touched me?” He said: “Even so: God createth what He willeth: When He hath decreed a plan, He but saith to it, ‘Be,’ and it is!
Christ – The Anointed One – God in the flesh – The Messiah – The Divinely Appointed Deliverer
Jesus – The Saviour – The Sacrifice for all mankind
Mohommed was not referred to as CHRIST and he had a father and a mother
The LORD Jesus is referred to as having only Mary as His mother and no human father
Based on these verses, a Muslim must accept Jesus as the Divine Son of God based on the words of the Koran.
His life should be highlighted with miracles and His teachings should withstand the passage of time – If Jesus Christ was truly God, then He would be truly sinless
The Koran makes mention of Jesus’ miracles as showed to us through the Gospels
Surah 3:48-49 “And God will teach him the Book and Wisdom, the Law and the Gospel,
49. “And (appoint him) an apostle to the Children of Israel, (with this message): “‘I have come to you, with a Sign from your Lord, in that I make for you out of clay, as it were, the figure of a bird, and breathe into it, and it becomes a bird by God’s leave: And I heal those born blind, and the lepers, and I quicken the dead, by God’s leave; and I declare to you what ye eat, and what ye store in your houses. Surely therein is a Sign for you if ye did believe;
Mohammed performed no miracles.
A Muslim book of tradition – Sahih Muslim, Book 030, Number 5838:
Abu Huraira Mohammed as saying: The satan touches every son of Adam on the day when his mother gives birth to him with the exception of Mary and her son.
We saw in Surah 3:45 that the Koran calls Jesus “CHRIST” which is Messiah – the sinless Son of God
There is no message of redemption for sinners through the merit of another in the Koran
If Jesus Christ was God, then He should truly conquer death
The Jews said they killed Jesus
Surah 4:157-158 That they said (in boast), “We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of God.;- but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not:-
The Jews said they killed Jesus but they didn’t?
158. Nay, God raised him up unto Himself; and God is Exalted in Power, Wise;-
This is saying that man couldn’t destroy Jesus because God raised up Jesus.
This is much like Acts 2:32
Surah 4:159 And there is none of the People of the Book but must believe in him before his death; and on the Day of Judgment he will be a witness against them;-
The LORD Jesus died, God raised Him up, and is going to Judge in the Day of Judgment.
The Koran doesn’t make any mention of God raising up MOHAMMED to be with Him in Heaven.
The Koran gives all 4 requirements for Jesus being the Divine Son of God just like the Bible says He is.
