  1. RETIREMENT

Proverb 21:20, “There is treasure to be desired and oil in the dwelling of the wise; but a foolish man spendeth it up.”

It teaches that we should not spend all that God gives us

God’s formula of finances is:

WORK – EARN – SPEND

We need to provide for our own at retirement time.

Start planning your retirement early in life.

IF YOU ARE BEHIND ON YOUR TITHE DRAW UP A PLAN TO PAY IT BACK

Leviticus 27:13, “But if he will at all redeem it, then he shall add a fifth part thereof unto thy

estimation.”

20% late fee by God

You pay late fees to others (credit cards, montages) why not to God?

Be on good terms with God financially.

PAY AHEAD ON THE PRINCIPAL PORTION OF YOUR MORTGAGE

Extra money sent has to say “PAY ON THE PRINCIPLE”

REFINANCE YOUR HOME MORTGAGE STRATEGICALLY

There is a difference in refinancing and modification.

TEACH WHAT YOU HAVE BEEN TAUGHT (ESPECIALLY MEN)

2 Timothy 2:2, “And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.”

Teach your mate

Teach your children

Teach your children to teach their children

REMEMBER WHERE YOU LEARNED FINANCIAL SUCCESS

Isaiah 51:1, “Hearken to me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the LORD: look unto the rock whence ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence ye are digged.”

Most churches who have folk that have been financially blessed did not reach them as rich people.

They started as financially average people and followed God’s Biblical financial instructions and became rich.

NOBODY IS FINANCIALLY INDEPENDENT

1 Corinthians 3:6-7, “I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.”  He can take it all from you over night.

You are dependant on God no matter how good you are with your money.

DON’T BARGAIN WITH GOD ABOUT THE GIVING OF YOUR TITHES OR OFFERINGS

YOU MAY NOT HAVE MONEY PROBLEMS, BUT CHARACTER PROBLEMS

Some money struggles are because of tragedy.

A heart attack or car wreck can bankrupt a home if insurance can’t or won’t cover it.

Some money problems are character problems.
